Cristiano Ronaldo might join Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain next season.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly gearing up for a move to the Ligue 1 next season and play for Paris Saint-Germain according to TuttoMercatoWeb. This is the Portugal winger’s third season in the Serie A and it looks like it will be his last and final season in Italy.

The former Manchester United winger, however, will not consider this current move to the Parc des Prince if the Italian giants fail to win the UEFA Champions League this season. Cristiano Ronaldo has last played the Champions League final in the 2017/18 season against Liverpool and since then he has failed to even reach the finals, let alone winning the trophy. However, he has one more year at Turin to make a final attempt to win the Champions League with the newly appointed coach, Andrea Pirlo.

Juventus last reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2016/17 where they lost 4-1 to a Real Madrid side which featured Cristiano Ronaldo. The men in black and white have won their domestic league, Serie A, for 9 years in a row now, but they have not been able to make a difference in Europe. They also reached the finals in 2015 where they lost to Luis Enrique’s Barcelona 4 goals to 1.

If Juventus fail to win this season’s Champions League, the former Real Madrid star might still consider moving to the Ligue 1 despite having a contract until 2022 as he is already 35 years of age and will not have many more opportunities to win the famous trophy. Multiple rumors about Kylian Mbappe heading to the Bernabeu has also started to come up and if that transfer does go through, there will be a huge gap to fill in the current PSG side which the Portuguese can attempt for.

Cristiano Ronaldo will get to link up with the likes of Mauro Icardi, Neymar Jr, and former Real Madrid teammate, Angel Di Maria. This might turn into a real opportunity for the number 7 to win the big-eared trophy before his European top-flight club career comes to an end.
