Kylian Mbappe is coveted by Europe’s elite clubs and Bernardo Silva desires to see him in City.

At just 21 years of age, Kylian Mbappe has established himself as a huge name in world football. The Frenchman has already had a great start to the season with six goals to his name in five games.

The youngster is admired by Bernardo Silva, who expressed his desire to play alongside the star and wants his club to attempt to sign him, like the many other big names.

Mbappe has always been vocal about his admiration for Zinedine Zidane, and thus, Real Madrid currently leads the race to sign him.

However, with his contract running up to 2024 with Paris Saint-Germain, an exit may not be on the horizon just yet. The PSG ambassador, Youri Djorkaeff, recently stated that he would first win the Champions League trophy before making a move elsewhere.

The ideal [scenario] is that he wins it and then after he signs in a big club. Everyone will be happy.”

Although with the major clubs like Los Blancos and Liverpool making their bids, Mbappe may very well leave without lifting the trophy, the ambassador added.

“Mbappe represents the club, but there are too many things that come into play. But it would be a regret for him.”

In a recent interview with L’Equipe(via Goal), Silva revealed his desire to bring Mbappe over to City. The players previously played together for Monaco, and Silva recalls the time they spent together playing and Mbappe’s play style.

“He was already a special player for Monaco when I was there and he’s also a friend. If we could buy him, that wouldn’t be bad!”

Pep Guardiola’s men aren’t faring well this season and could perhaps use the young attacker in their squad right now. It remains to be seen if the dream move does happen with Mbappe fielding offers from multiple clubs and his own contract terms.
