Harry Kane has been hailed as the next best after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
Tottenham Hotspurs’ forward Harry Kane has started this season on a high. The England international has 5 goals and 8 assists in just 6 games in the Premier League. The forward returned to his best after a bad spell of struggling due to injuries. Manchester United legend and former Spurs player Dimitar Berbatov has highly praised the forward and placed him just behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Harry Kane is the top assist provider in the League this season. However, the forward’s playmaking ability is not something new for the Premier League fans. Under manager, Mauricio Pochettino, Kane used to drop deep and play long balls to the wide midfielders. Under Jose Mourinho, the English player is doing something similar. The attacking duo of Kane and Son has been top-notch in front of the goal. Harry Kane drops deep and plays long balls and Son who is the inside forward is at the end of those. Son’s pace and excellent finishing are the icing on the cake of a brilliant pass.
Harry Kane is one of the best number nine’s to play in the Premier League. The forward has won two golden boots and missed out on the third golden boot in the 2017/18 season although he scored 30 goals in the league. The Englishman outscored Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the year 2017. The 27-year-old will be hoping to win his first trophy with Spurs this season. In the past, a number of top European clubs were linked with the forward including Real Madrid and Manchester United. Manchester United’s Roy Keane has highly praised the forward in the past.
Kane can drop deep while the two wingers or inside forwards can get inside the box and their pace can be a major problem for the fullbacks. Tottenham Hotspurs can build a formidable front three with Son, Kane, and Bale.
