Manchester City prodigy to receive a lucrative deal

Manchester City youngster Phil Foden has become a vital part of Pep Guardiola‘s side and could very well be offered a very good deal in order to keep him at the club for a longer time. The English midfielder currently earns 15,000 pounds per week but the potential deal could see him earn up to 75-80,000 pounds instead.

The young Manchester boy has won the hearts of all the fans. He has been absolutely fantastic since his debut in 2016/17 against Manchester United. The best part about Phil Foden’s ride in Manchester City was his patience, the youngster showed unreal patience in awaiting his chance. After all these years of starting only a few games and coming off the bench for David Silva, the attacking midfielder has finally got his chance for the main team.

Foden started playing and starting regularly at the end of the 2019/20 season. Even at that point, the midfielder got goals and assists. At 18 years of age, he started one game against Tottenham Hotspur, after their exit in the champions league against the Londoners. He scored the winner to keep the title race alive. His patience has shown how much he loves this team and how important the team and the fans are to him.

Foden has stated multiple times that he loves playing for the badge and the fans. He has also stated how lucky and proud he is to be representing this club. Guardiola has stated that he is the most talented youngster he has coached and the Catalan has coached legendary players like Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, and Lionel Messi, just to name a few. David Silva left the City of Manchester Stadium after ten long years at the club and Phil Foden is looked at as his replacement by everyone. The Englishman has also stated that he has built his game around the Spaniard’s gameplay and movement.
