Real Madrid skipper wanted by MLS side Inter Miami.
Inter Miami owner David Beckham is looking to bring in Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos on a free transfer next year.
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is a player in high demand. His contract with Los Blancos ends next summer and his current situation allows him to speak with other clubs in January.
While many reports reveal the Real Madrid captain is close to renewing his contract, reports from Spain suggest he might be interested in a move to Inter Miami.
Manuel de Juan of AS claims that Inter Miami owner David Beckham is looking to bring Ramos to his MLS club next season and another report from Mundo Deportivo suggested that he is unlikely to renew his contract and will prefer a move to his former team-mate’s club in the US.
The report also cites that Ramos is good friends with Beckham, and also with singers Marc Anthony and Alejandro Sanz who live in Miami, and he would be very interested in moving to MLS both for his own career and for his young family.
Ramos has been with the La Liga giants since 2005 having joined them from Sevilla. He has already made over 600 appearances for Real and recently scored his 100th goal for the club
For a man who has won every single silverware possible with Real Madrid, could very well look to start a new chapter in his life and the prospect of playing in the MLS is certainly appealing.
The signing of Ramos could be another big deal for Inter Miami, who signed a number of top European stars this summer.
Inter Miami signed former Juventus pair Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi and the signing of Ramos would increase their stature even more.
