Juventus having trouble renewing star player, Paulo Dybala’s contract.

Italian giants, Juventus, are going through a bit of a dry patch of time at the moment. The Italians sit on the seventh position at the moment which is hardly desirable and their problems only grow further as there are now reports of trouble in the contract renewal of a player. This player being one of their brightest ones and one whom they must hold onto no matter what. The player we are talking about is, of course, Paulo Dybala. His contract is set to run out by June 2022 and the Turin based club is desperate to extend his contract. However, as talks of a potential Manchester United offer comes around the corner, Juventus might want to hurry up their negotiations.

Dybala who already had a subpar start to the season due to his injuries is now part of another discussion, this time about his contract. The player’s current weekly 225,000 pounds contract is coming to an end by June 2022 and it looks like the club is not able to sweeten the deal to make him continue his career with them. This could be partly due to the Corona Virus pandemic and the fact that Italy is one of the most badly affected countries by the lockdown. It was recently announced that the Serie A were going through such a loss that the president of the league feared the permanent closure of Italian football.

Thus under these conditions, it will be really hard for the Italian giants to offer a very lucrative offer and according to reports, Manchester United are looking to take full advantage of the situation. The English club tried for Dybala once before as well but were unable to sign the 27-year-old. However, things might be different this time around. The failure to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund means that they still have a good chunk of transfer budget left which they can spend on this world-class player. It would be really interesting to see Dybala in the league although United will have to pay near 90 million pounds for him.
