LA Galaxy sign Mexican prodigy with Manchester City having a purchase option.
Mexican youngster Alex Alcala has now signed a brand new deal with American and Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy. The English giants, Manchester City however have an option to purchase the attacker when he turns 18, three years later. Pep Guardiola has reportedly been interested in the young gem and it is understandable as the youngster is termed as the ”Mexican Messi” as he represents the Argentine legend Lionel Messi in some ways. The young attacker is extremely talented for his age and it will not come as a surprise if big European giants start moving in to purchase the forward.
The Mexican phenomenon is very highly rated. The California native is now being called Mexico’s biggest prospect. The 15-year-old has been to the City Football Academy and trained with Manchester City in the United Kingdom twice already. Alcala has also trained at Barcelona’s famous training facility known as the La Masia which is very famous for producing and training some of the finest most talented players the footballing world has ever seen.
The young Mexican can decide to play for the USMNT or the Mexican national team as he is a legal citizen of the United States of America. Currently, he is under the U-16 Mexican national team. He signed a professional deal for the first time with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy with Manchester City as a potential side for him to move to when he turns 18 and can play at a higher level.
The youngster previously decided to play in California in a more local scenario. Alcala looks to have great potential and talent and a future move to the City of Manchester Stadium could be a dream come true for the Mexican international.
