Former Manchester United winger has urged the club to part ways with the French star.
Manchester United legend, Andrei Kanchelskis, has dug into midfielder Paul Pogba saying he should stop complaining and just leave the club if he’s unhappy with his situation there.
Kanchelskis is sick and tired of the World cup winner’s antics and thinks he should move on to a new club if he feels he isn’t getting what he wants at United. The Russian has also lost patience with Pogba’s superstar agent Mino Raiola, addressing the controversial Italian as a “huge problem” for the club.
Pogba still stands as United’s most expensive signing to date at a whopping £89 million ($119m), which the club paid to Juventus to bring the star man back to Old Trafford in 2016.
With just the 33 goals and 35 assists in 176 appearances for the club, it is fair to say the Frenchman has neither lived up to expectations nor justified his price tag in his time with the Red Devils. Inconsistency and injuries on the pitch with constant rumors and speculation linking him to other clubs often have contributed to Pogba’s decline in recent years.
“Pogba is always talking about leaving Manchester United, so for me, it would be better if you just left”, the Russian to American Gambler (via Goal)
If you’re saying every time ‘I don’t like this, I don’t like that, I want to leave’ then just leave. Go. Leave. No problem.
Of course Raiola is a huge problem, he’s always saying that Pogba is not happy at Manchester United.
If you want to come and play for Manchester United, you need to open your heart, play 100 per cent. It’s a shame as Pogba is a great player.”
The French playmaker has even lost his place in the starting XI this season, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now deploying a diamond in midfield with Bruno Fernandes as the focal point and key creator.
Amidst all the rumors of Madrid, where Pogba claimed it would be a “dream” to play for the Spanish Giants, his stats this season have been dismal with no goals or assists in seven appearances in the league so far and now with United signing an attacking midfielder in the form of Donny Van De Beek in the summer window, it seems like his time may finally be up at Old Trafford.
