Manchester City are planning for a January transfer.
Manchester City landed Ferran Torres at a fantastic transfer fee in the summer transfer window of 2020. The player looks to have fit in very well at the club as he has already been a regular starter through most games and done extremely well especially in the UEFA Champions League. Ferran Torres and Phil Foden have had a great link-up so far in City colors. However, the Citizens are in line for another Valencia youngster as they plan to move in on him in the January transfer window of 2021.
Valencia youngster Kang-in Lee has been a phenomenal talent discovered by the La Liga giants. However, the Korean international has a problem with his playtime. He isn’t getting regular minutes to perform and to prove himself hence, he is growing more frustrated according to various top-tier sources. The youngster also reportedly has absolutely no intention of signing a new deal to extend his stay at the Mestalla.
Hence, Manchester City are eyeing another swoop where they can possibly land Lee in the winter transfer window or in the summer transfer window of 2021. The Korean’s contract with the La Liga giants ends in 2022 and he has absolutely zero intention of continuing at the club given his current situation. Lack of playtime and growing frustration has led the 19-year-old to make a move heading out of the club.
The Korean international may find similar problems if he joins City, however, as the Centurions have outstanding attacking depth and that it will not be easy to break into Pep Guardiola‘s starting 11. However, getting coached under the Catalan will be a once in a lifetime experience for the youngster as he will get to improve himself as a footballer at the CFA. Only the arrival of the January transfer window in 2021 will decide the fate of the 19-year-old.
