Liverpool youngster has been hailed for his recent stunner.
From the day he first stepped onto the pitch wearing a Liverpool FC jersey, Harvey Elliott has always looked like he belonged. Here was a 16-year-old boy, taking it fearlessly to grown men on every possession. In the spot minutes he was given at Liverpool, Elliot has looked every bit the special player he was described to be.
Harvey, who is the current youngest player to play in the Pl, moved to Liverpool last season. He has enjoyed considerable success since moving to Anfield winning the UEFA Supercup, FIFA Club World cup, and the Premier League.
A decision was made to loan out Harvey to Blackburn this season to gain some more first-team experience. The flashes of brilliance have been constant, with Harvey becoming a regular starter for Blackburn.
Elliott has two goals and three assists from ten games this season. While the numbers might not sound crazy, it’s simply incredible when you realize this is a seventeen year old playing his first full season of senior football.
Elliott is among the Championship’s top creators in terms of key passes, while he is third in terms of expected assists per 90 minutes, showing the influence he is having on Blackburn Rovers this season.
Elliott netted a stunning goal for Blackburn last night, A first-time left-footed screamer into the top corner of the net. A goal that even the likes of Lionel Messi and Mohammed Salah would be proud of.

Liverpool fans took to Twitter to laud the Reds starlet, comparing him with the likes of Leo Messi. Elliott who has an excellent range of passing with a vision to maximize it and a great eye for goal has been compared to Messi due to their similar style of play, how he is proving to be a crucial player in the second tier at just 17, has settled into life at Blackburn immediately.
