Four potential January signings eyed by Juventus Boss.

Juventus have struggled under new manager Andrea Pirlo this season. The Bianconeri have twenty points from the first ten games this season and find themselves in the fourth position, six points behind league leaders AC Milan.

Juventus have often looked clueless without their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo. They have struggled this season without him, dropping points in four of the five games he missed due to Covid-19.

Summer signings Dejan Kulusevski, Weston McKennie, and Federico Chiesa are yet to hit the ground running, while the likes of Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro have been struggling to find form this season.

Its quite obvious the Italian champions would need reinforcements if they are to play Andrea Pirlo’s way and defend their title.

These are the four options Italian outlet Bianco Nero thinks Juventus should sign this January Transfer window:

#1 Emerson Palmeri (Defender | Age: 26)

The Chelsea left-back who is one of the three left-back options at the London club has struggled since moving to Stamford Bridge in a thirty million pound deal from AS Roma. Left back has been a position where Juventus need new options, there’s no backup to Alex Sandro who has struggled this season and with Emerson available in the market, Juventus could get him for cheap. He could be a good option since he has Serie A experience.
Inter Milan are reportedly also interested in him.

#2 Manuel Locatelli (Midfieder | Age: 22)

Andrea Pirlo’s main target last summer before he was forced to go for McKennie. He could very well be still on the radar with Bentancur and Rabiot both struggling for form this season. A move for Locatelli could very well be in the cards if one of the above-mentioned players decide to leave.

#3 Rodrigo De Paul (Midfielder | Age: 26)

The 26-year-old was very close to joining Leeds United this summer before the move broke down. He could now be on his move to the Allianz stadium with Dybala falling out of Pirlo’s plans.

#4 Oliver Giroud (Striker | Age: 34)

Another Chelsea man in the list for Pirlo, Giroud has been in great form this season scoring six goals already. It was confirmed last month by Frank Lampard that the Frenchman would be leaving the club this winter.

Pirlo who likes to play two strikers upfront could use a player like Giroud who would bring in loads of experience and could combine with Ronaldo/ Morata.
