Manchester United are ready to part ways with Paul Pogba.

After years of rumors, it looks like Manchester United are finally ready to sell their star signing Paul Pogba this summer. The Frenchman was signed in the 2016/17 season for a massive price tag of 89 million euros to which he failed to live up to the hype completely. The player played parallel to the likes of Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and while the Belgian had world-class season after season, Pogba simply failed to justify his price tag.

Obviously, the Frenchman did have fantastic games where he won games and displayed flairs of his underlying potential. The midfielder even played a massive role in France’s triumph in the FIFA world cup in 2018. Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has stated a few weeks back that Paul Pogba will be surely leaving Old Trafford in the summer and that he will not be signing a new contract with the Red Devils.

The Frenchman is already heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford. He is linked to the likes of Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain and Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid so far. Juventus too have sniffed around in order for the player to make a return to Turin.

United had signed the player with a lot of hopes. What Pogba put to display in Turin was simply world-class. His potential was off the charts. The Red Devils signed him for a staggering 89 million euros almost 5 years ago. Since then the player did not win the Premier League or the UEFA Champions League. Pogba did end up winning the Europa League under Jose Mourinho. There is no doubt that the French international is a fantastic midfielder but the different coaches at United and their gameplay have not helped the midfielder unleash his true potential.

A move away for the Frenchman at this point of his career would be a great decision if he wants to go back to the level he was at Juventus.
