Real Madrid want Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes
Real Madrid have been strongly linked to Rennes’ talent Eduardo Camavinga for quite some time now. The talented French youngster has been making strides in his career development and is one of the major targets of Los Blancos. President Florentino Perez reached an agreement to renew Luka Modric’s contract for another year this summer. Modric, who despite being 35 now, has shown no signs of decline and has been one of the best players since long for them; will be reduced to a squad rotation option.
Real look as if they have a pre-planned map of how they are going to induce the arrival of the youngster into the squad. The younger crop of midfielders will certainly benefit from having players like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric as a guiding light. As everyone might know, Real Madrid are a different gravy, and they require a lot more from their players.
Considering the current market conditions, the transfer won’t be easy. If Rennes demand a hefty sum for the youngster, Real might have to ponder upon a different course of action. As per reports from AS, due to his performances being declined in recent months, the possibility of contract renewal is very low. The board directors of Rennes have even considered this and have thought maybe it is in their best interest if he is sold for a better return.
One of the major influences of this transfer will be his new agency. Eduardo has joined Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett, who has a reach in the higher-ups at Real. His contacts with Jose Angel Sanchez and Perez are a major reason as to why he thinks Camavinga has a future at Madrid. Barnett will definitely try to get the best for his client, and for a stellar career at Real Madrid similar to Bale.
Although Real are not the only club in pursuit of him, they are quite possibly the contenders with the largest lead currently.
