Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish price-tag set for Manchester United.

Manchester United fans will be disappointed with the league cup semi-final defeat to city rivals Manchester City. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now lost four consecutive semi-finals in all competitions since taking charge at the club.

The United manager was hoping to add silverware to the cabinet while challenging for the title this season. However, the Red Devils have bigger issues to deal with in the future. According to reports by Fabrizio Romano, French midfielder Paul Pogba is likely to leave the club next summer and Ole will be looking for a possible replacement. Aston Villa captain, Jack Grealish is one of the top names to replace the Frenchman at the club.

Grealish was linked with United this summer but the club refused to pay the transfer fee of 80 million pounds and brought Dutch midfielder, Donny Van De Beek. Pogba leaving the club will leave a huge crack to fill for the manager and according to reports by The Sun, United might have to pay a sum of 90 million pounds for the England international.

Jack Grealish has been in excellent form this season and with a goal tally of 6 goals and 9 assists in all competitions. The 25-year-old recently signed a contract extension at the club and Villa will not sell their captain for anything less than 90 million pounds. Manchester United fans have already expressed their desire for Grealish’s move to Old Trafford. The Englishman was highly impressive against Manchester United this season, creating 4 chances in the game and registering an assist but was unfortunate to leave the pitch with no points due to the heroics of Eric Bailly.

The Aston Villa midfielder is an extremely versatile footballer and can play a number of positions including left-winger, number 10, and central midfielder and he has a very good work rate along with creativity.
