Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has reportedly slammed Paris Saint Germain star, Angel Di Maria, for making claims about Lionel Messi heading to the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2021. The Argentine has apparently made multiple statements about his international teammate potentially joining the French giants in the coming summer.

Many Paris Saint-Germain players and staff including the coach Mauricio Pochhetino have made comments about Messi joining the team. This has apparently not gone well through the Barcelona coach as he lashed out at Angel Di Maria after his latest statements about the 33-year-old playmaker.

Messi has been heavily linked to Mauricio Pochhetino’s PSG and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City since he handed in a transfer request in the summer transfer window of 2020. However, the request was denied as the Argentine’s contract is up in the summer of 2021 which is currently six months away. The Barcelona captain is free to negotiate with teams as of now, however, his coach thinks otherwise.

Koeman fed up with rumors until Leo’s exit is official

According to Koeman, Leo is still a Barcelona player. He has not left the team as of yet. The former Everton coach is reportedly ”tired” of other teams and players such as Angel Di Maria making comments about the magician as though he is already a part of their club.

Hence, the former Southampton coach has also issued a warning to Mauricio Pochhetino’s team for their upcoming round of 16 clash in the UEFA Champions League. The Blaugrana coach has stated that it could not end very well for PSG and their players in the tie after making such arrogant comments about Messi joining their team. The Dutchman is clearly only demanding respect and discreetness from the Parisian players as the Argentine is still a Barcelona player as of now and nothing is official yet with PSG.
