Cavani has been in great form since joining United this summer. The 33-year old has a good record against Everton this season. He scored the insurance goal the last time these two sides met at Goodison Park and also broke the deadlock in the league cup game. Manchester United lacked a leader on the pitch for years and Cavani’s impact has been great. The forward assisted Fernandes against Leicester City scored the equalizer against Fulham and scored two goals including the winner against Southampton at Saint Mary’s stadium.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also stated that defender Eric Bailly is a doubt for the game but the positive update on Manchester United’s new number 7 is a huge boost for the side. City rival Manchester City will travel to Anfield and Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways after a setback against Brighton.
