Manchester City are top of the Premier League with a game in hand. City’s new signing Ruben Dias has been an instant success at the club and comparisons with Virgil Van Dijk has started to show up. The Portuguese arrived at City this season from Benfica and has bolstered City’s defense this season and as a result, the Sky Blues have conceded the least number of goals in the Premier League this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side comfortably beat Liverpool and registered City’s first win at Anfield since 2003. Dias has formed an excellent pairing along with English defender John Stones. The City fans were happy after reports revealed that the Portugal international has returned from his injury. Ruben Dias missed the FA Cup game against Swansea due to fever but was available for the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

While the defender wasn’t played against Spurs, Manchester City do play Everton next. Josep Guardiola comfortably beat his long-term rival, Jose Mourinho 3-0 yesterday but the pair are set to once again face each other this season in the league cup final.

City are currently top of the league with a game in hand, and Ruben’s return will definitely be a boost for the Manchester side. The Portuguese international has become a key player for Pep along with Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton side will be a tough challenge for the Citizens. The Blues have managed to tie 3-3 against Manchester United while beating Spurs 5-4 in the 5th round of FA Cup. With Ancelotti’s side not afraid to push forward and score goals, the return of Dias will be that much crucial for Guardiola.
