Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus are after a center forward in the summer transfer window of 2021. According to outlet Sports Mediaset, the Old Lady are after Sergio Aguero of Manchester City. The Argentine is City’s longest-serving player of all time. However, the player may leave in the summer as his contract with the Centurions is up.

As of now, it does not look like the club are going to offer him a new contract. The center forward also does not look like he is going to settle for a lesser amount of wages in order to stay. However, it looks like this is the end of a massive era for the Premier League leaders.

Manchester City star could head to Juventus in the summer

Sergio Aguero is reportedly being targeted by the Serie A giants. The men in black and white have been targeting forwards who are aged 30 plus over the last few windows. They were also previously linked to former Manchester City star Edin Dzeko. As of now, it looks like they want Aguero too.

The Argentine has taken the Premier League by storm ever since he arrived. He shattered many records and he won the league four times. He failed to win the Champions League with City but individually his record is good in Europe. He still has an opportunity to win the CL with Pep Guardiola before he does officially depart.

The 32-year-old ended up becoming the highest-scoring overseas player in the league. He is ahead of giants such as Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie in the list of PL goals. The forward also has the most amount of hat-tricks in league history ahead of Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer.

There is no doubt that Aguero is one of the biggest players to ever grace the league. However, if it is time to depart, Juventus would not be the worst option.

Do you think Sergio Aguero should join Juventus? And if so, do you think he would make a good fit in Serie A?
