Chelsea had spent a huge amount on multiple players during the last summer transfer window. However, Frank Lampard as coach failed to have a massive season like he was predicted to do. He was eventually sacked and replaced by former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel. Ever since the German arrived at Stamford Bridge, things have looked up. Top-notch performances, consistent wins, and clean sheets became a normal part of the business at West London. As of now, Chelsea looks very good. Their squad depth too is massive and probably the best in Europe.

Can Tuchel take Chelsea to the top again?

It has been many years ever since Chelsea have shown signs of dominance. They won the Europa League in 18/19 and the FA Cup in 17/18. However, their last Premier League win was under Antonio Conte in 2016/17. That was well and truly the last time the Blues showed consistent performances. They have not been consistent ever since. Just managing to secure the top 4 in the league and securing tier two cup competitions is not really the Chelsea way. The Chelsea way is dominating week in and week out and maintaining a position at the top.

When the former Borussia Dortmund coach took over, the Royal Blues were in a pretty bad place. But ever since his arrival, things have looked up. They look pretty strong in the Premier League as of now and they will most probably secure top 4. This is an achievement because they did not look like they were going to secure the top 4 under Frank Lampard.

The Blues also ended up beating La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. The round of 16 tie saw Chelsea maintain a full clean sheet as they ended up winning 3-0 on aggregate. This is a massive achievement for the team as they secured a quarter-final place for the first time since 2015.

Is it possible for Chelsea to regain complete dominance under Tuchel?
