Liverpool are currently going through one of their most difficult times under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp. The Merseyside team after experiencing great success for the past three years have finally begun to show their flaws and the injuries are not helping them either.

However, one player who has managed to keep his form even in such trying times is Mohamed Salah. Thus the club should pay attention to his happiness as his former coach, Hamdi Nooh, suggests that the player might leave the club if he gets a more lucrative offer.

The 28-year-old has experienced massive success on his second time around in the Premier League. Chelsea could not really understand the player’s potential and let him go only for Klopp to pick him up years later and turn him into one of the best players in the world.

Even in this season, although the team is struggling, Salah has maintained his goal-scoring form, scoring 18 in the league and 26 in all competitions. He has been courted by Real Madrid and Barcelona before but he has shown his loyalty to the Reds and has a contract that runs till 2023.

Hamdi Nooh suggests that Salah could leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Still, Salah’s former coach at  El-Mokawloon believes that the player could be open to a move away if he gets a better offer. Nooh in a recent interview with AS shared his opinions on the player and said that he would love to see Salah in the La Liga playing alongside some of the best players in the world like Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi. He said in the interview,

Yes, he may think about leaving Liverpool if a better offer comes in, but that’s just my own opinion. He’s unique and his family means everything to him.”

“I can’t guess at that. I enjoy watching Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich but my heart is always wherever Salah is.”

“In any case, I’ll be very happy if he goes to a Spanish club. Spanish football is my favourite.” – Source Goal

Real Madrid might try to sign him again next season as a replacement for Hazard as the former Chelsea star failed to live up to expectations. Barca might also negotiate with him as a replacement for the aging Messi.

For now, however, Salah is a Liverpool player and he will give his best in the UEFA Champions League, the only tournament they still have a chance of winning. The Reds will face against the Madrid whites in the quarter-finals in what is sure to be a blockbuster of a game.
