Manchester United faced Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend and was victorious over the away side. Former Manchester United man Danny Welbeck gave Brighton the lead but Marcus Rashford equalized for the home side and Mason Greenwood scored the late winner and sealed all three points for his side. United are now four points clear of 3rd placed Leicester City and the Foxes dropped points this weekend along with Chelsea. Here are the three talking points from the game.

#1 Bruno Fernandes continues his good record against Brighton

Bruno Fernandes was once again very good in the game and the Portuguese national assisted Marcus Rashford in the equalizing goal. He created five chances in the entire game and covered almost every grass in the field. Fernandes continued his great record against the seagulls with the assist. Bruno scored the late winner the last time these two sides met in the Premier League.

Fernandes has been exceptionally good this season and is certainly a huge shout for the PFA Player of the Year award this season.

#2. Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw with a solid display

Captain Harry Maguire marked his 100th appearance for the club with a special performance. Maguire has joined United on the 19/20 season and his fitness has been very good. Maguire made an excellent challenge to deny Welbeck to score his second goal in the game.

Luke Shaw once again showed that he is arguably the best left-back in the league currently. The Englishman played an excellent pass to Fernandes to start the move for the 2nd goal for Manchester United. Shaw has been pretty solid defensively in the game.

#3. Mason Greenwood with a special performance

Teenager Mason Greenwood dropped a special performance and scored the winner in the game. Greenwood hit the post early in the game and looked very lively throughout the entire match. Greenwood has now scored 12 Premier League goals for Manchester United and only Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney have scored more as a teenager.
